    Proposed Rule
    Summary: EPA is proposing numerous changes to the Risk Management Program (RMP), and would modify some compliance dates that otherwise fall in the next few months. Among the proposed changes is that EPA would remove the requirement for existing facilities subject to the RMP regulations to undertake a safer technologies and alternatives analysis, remove some employee training requirements, remove requirements to develop processes for employees to report unaddressed hazards, and remove some requirements related to employee participation in RMP activities. The proposed changes would also reduce some documentation requirements, and change some of the conditions for third party audits and third party auditors. EPA proposes for it to provide RMP information to the public via a new online tool rather than requiring owners and operators to provide this information to the public. [Full Text – 91 FR 8970]
