DOT In-Depth HAZMAT Security

This 45 minute course presents fundamental information required by the DOT In-Depth HAZMAT Security Training regulation. Upon completing the course, employees should:
- Understand how hazardous materials can be used as weapons of mass destruction by terrorists or other criminals.
- Understand how the HAZMAT security requirements established by the Department of Transportation (DOT) can help to prevent theft and sabotage of hazardous materials during the shipping process.
- Know the security infrastructure, policies and practices that are required by the DOT's Hazardous Materials Regulations.
- Know what you should do to help keep HAZMATs secure while they are being transported.
