DOT Hours of Service

This 30-minute course presents fundamental information for employees on the DOT “Hours of Service” regulations. Upon completing the course, employees should:

• Understand why it is important for truck drivers to follow the DOT’s “Hours of Service” regulations.
• Know what the “Hours of Service” regulations actually require drivers to do to manage their driving time.
• Be able to describe what truck drivers need to do to comply with “Hours of Service” regulations so that they can avoid fatigue and stay safe when they are on the road.
