Bloodborne Pathogens in Commercial and Industrial Facilities

This 45 minute course presents fundamental information on guarding against exposure to bloodborne pathogens in commercial and industrial facilities. Upon completing the course, employees should:
- Understand the health hazards presented by bloodborne pathogens, including the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
- Understand the policies and procedures that their facility should follow to control exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job.
- Know specific procedures and personal protective equipment that they should use to protect themselves and their coworkers from exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
