Dakota Software's Environmental Management Platform a Highlight of the NAEM EHS Software Conference
Cleveland, OH – Dakota Software, a leading provider of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability management software, today announced that their Environmental Management applications will be featured at two demonstrations taking place at the National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM) EHS and Sustainability Software Conference.
The demonstrations will be conducted by McWane Inc., an industry leader in the production of cast iron pipe and fittings with more than 6,000 employees at over 30 operations across the globe. Utilizing SmartForm technology, Dakota worked with McWane to develop these sophisticated and comprehensive environmental management tools which, when combined with Dakota’s ProActivity Suite, give McWane a 360 degree view of their global environmental performance.
Dakota’s Environmental Management Platform consists of applications for monitoring and managing Air, Water, and Waste compliance. The Waste Management application helps organizations manage the complex logistics and recordkeeping associated with solid and hazardous waste. It allows for corporate approvals of waste transporters and disposal facilities and site level management of waste profiles, shipments, and containers. The Water and Air Compliance applications help sites monitor and report on air and water permit requirements while normalizing data for a global view of permit compliance status.
For more than 25 years, Dakota Software’s solutions have been used by EHS managers to proactively identify regulatory obligations, conduct EHS audits, and close the loop on corrective actions. Their ProActivity Suite is the only software solution that includes a library of translated regulatory content. This unique content integration allows users to easily determine which regulations apply to them, prompts ongoing compliance, and provides end users with guidance and clarification on complex subject matter.
The NAEM 2015 EHS and Sustainability Software Conference will take place on February 24-25 in Tampa, Florida. It is an opportunity for EHS professionals to meet with leading solutions providers and learn how their peers are using data management systems to track compliance metrics, mitigate business risk, and report sustainability results externally.
