The COVID-19 outbreak has turned the EHS world on its head. As businesses begin to return to productivity, EHS managers have been forced to reprioritize their efforts in overseeing the health and safety of their employees while adapting to a “new normal.”
To assist our user community, and the EHS community at large, Dakota Software has put together a number of resources and virtual events. Led by our inhouse Compliance Services experts, the following items have been created to facilitate idea sharing, provide best practices, and to help EHS professionals take action to deal with these new challenges.
For Dakota’s User Community
In April of 2020, Dakota made available to our clients, at no cost, a Pandemic Preparedness and Response toolkit. This module, which includes 42 Audit Checklist Questions and 14 Pandemic Planning Tasks, provides a framework for executing and validating changes to policies and procedures throughout an organization. Audits, self-assessments, and tasks using this module can be deployed to sites and tracked using Dakota Auditor, Profiler, and Tracer. Site supervisors and front line workers can then use them to assess preparedness and ensure essential safeguards are in place.
Dakota Scout clients can also use the Incident management application to track COVID-related illnesses and the Training Management application to schedule and track COVID-related training sessions.
