Tuberculosis in the Healthcare Environment

This 45 minute course presents fundamental information on guarding against tuberculosis infection in healthcare environments. Upon completing the course, employees should:
- Understand the health risks presented by tuberculosis (TB) today.
- Recognize the special risks of exposure to TB they may encounter as part of their job.
- Understand how their facility's TB prevention and control plan helps reduce these risks.
- Know specific procedures they should follow to prevent the transmission of TB.
