This 60 minute course presents fundamental information about preventing sexual and other forms of harassment for employees in California. Upon completing the course, employees should:
- Recognize the extent to which sexual and other forms of harassment can be a problem in workplaces in California.
- Be able to describe the types of harassment they may encounter in their workplace.
- Know why it is important to take reports of harassment seriously.
- Understand the effects that even subtle harassment can have on its victims.
- Understand what an employer must do if they receive a report of harassment.
- Know how to file a claim of harassment.
