Patient Handling Safety

This 30 minute course presents fundamental information for employees on patient handling safety. Upon completing the course, employees should:
- Understand the physical hazards that can be associated with patient handling procedures.
- Be able to describe the equipment and work practices that caregivers should use to carry out these tasks.
- Know what healthcare organizations can do to help protect employees from injuries related to patient handling.
