HAZWOPER Safety Orientation

This course presents fundamental information on safety issues that exist in HAZMAT environments. Upon completing the course, employees should:
- Understand why mental discipline is critical to handling hazardous materials safely.
- Know how to avoid complacency and stay focused on the job at hand.
- Realize how the constraints that PPE places on their body can lead to an accident.
- Understand why it is important to know the characteristics of the chemicals that they will be dealing with.
