The course presents fundamental information on Decontamination Procedures. Upon completion of this course, employees should:
- Understand why OSHA requires workers who are exposed to hazardous materials to be decontaminated.
- Recognize the tools, equipment and materials used during the decontamination process.
- Know why a chemical incident site is separated into areas called "zones".
- Be able to describe the decontamination process in detail.
