AmeriGas, one of the largest propane companies in the U.S., serves 1.3 million customers in the residential, commercial, industrial, motor fuel, agricultural and recreational markets. They use over 600 distribution centers and a truck fleet that logs over 100 million miles annually to deliver one billion gallons of pressurized propane, which creates safety challenges in every state.

For the first time on a company-wide basis, AmeriGas could now analyze incidents and accidents to uncover hidden correlations between events. ProActivity has enabled the collection of more complete and detailed data and provides a centralized data repository. The company plans to implement a detailed quarterly safety review using ProActivity’s analysis and reporting tools.
