EPA Revises Definition of Solid Waste

Applicability Change Summary
EPA is finalizing a rule that implements the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit vacaturs (issued July 7, 2017 and modified on March 6, 2018) that vacated the verified recycler exclusion for hazardous waste that is recycled off-site and reinstated the transfer-based exclusion. Implementation of the court vacaturs is effective immediately.
