EPA Approves 16 Alternative Test Methods for Drinking Water Contaminants

New Action Forcing Change Summary
EPA is approving 16 alternative test methods for measuring certain contaminants in drinking water. Public water systems may use the new alternative methods to analyze drinking water samples for certain metals, nitrate, nitrite, turbidity, and disinfectant residuals of chlorine. The new alternative methods are listed in Appendix A of 40 CFR 141, Subpart C.
