Summary: PHMSA has issued an advisory bulletin to remind owners and operators of gas and hazardous liquid pipelines of the potential for damage to pipeline facilities from hurricanes. The bulletin outlines actions that owners and operators should take to ensure pipeline safety, particularly owners and operators with facilities located in offshore and inland areas where damage may occur to offshore platforms and pipelines, onshore pumping stations, compressor stations, and terminals.
