Improve the Efficiency of your Audit Program with Ghosting

Recently, we explained how question tagging can make auditing with Dakota Auditor dramatically more efficient by limiting the audit checklist to a select set of questions. In this article, we will briefly review another tool that can also improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your audit program. This tool is called ghosting.

When you create a new audit based on an existing audit, key information like question answers and findings from the original audit are revealed. On a question-by- question basis, you elect to import this information into the current audit. If no changes are necessary, you can answer the question and supply supporting evidence with a single click! Where changes are needed, you merely modify the previous response with the new information.
