Action Forcing Change Summary
FMCSA has published a final rule to suspend the effective and compliance dates for the Unified Registration System (URS) final rule issued on August 23, 2013 (78 FR 52608). The suspension allows more time to securely migrate data from multiple legacy platforms into a new central database and conduct further compatibility testing with the States. The requirements effective on January14,2017 will remain in effect until the suspension is lifted.
