EPA Proposes Revisions to the NESHAP for Coal- and Oil-Fired Electric Utility Steam Generating Units

October 4th, 2016 by Dakota Software Staff Regulatory Updates

Proposed Rule Change Summary
EPA is proposing to amend the electronic reporting requirements for the NESHAP for coal- and oil-fired electric utility steam generating units (also known as the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS)). The proposed revisions would streamline the electronic data reporting requirements of MATS by creating one reporting system (both for owners or operators of electric utility steam generating units who use performance stack testing or continuous monitoring to demonstrate compliance) and would increase data transparency and enhance access to MATS data.
